The name
Harita — the living green. Named not for a colour but for a quality: the freshness of something that breathes, moves, and feels alive against the body.
What this fabric does
Mul cotton breathes — you can wear this through a full teaching day, a lunch, a meeting, without the fabric feeling tired against you. It holds pleats well enough that you're not adjusting every hour, and it falls close to the skin the way only handwoven cotton does. Made for the days you forget you're wearing a saree.
